Kind Ways — Twelve Household Manners Colour Book for Muslim Children (Printable PDF, A4 + US Letter)

A manners book a child can actually use. Instant PDF. A4 and US Letter. Print at home, in colour.

Twelve household manners many Muslim families already teach. Each manner has eight short pages in the same order, so a child always knows what comes next: meet it, trace the English, see three steps, walk a maze, tick the kinder way, colour an object, try it once that week, then a small yes-or-no check.

What’s inside

108 pages. Twelve units. Two PDFs.

1. Start with Bismillah

2. Give salam

3. Say Alhamdulillah

4. Thank people

5. Listen when someone is speaking

6. Tell the truth

7. Take turns

8. Wash and tidy

9. Knock

10. Walk quietly in the masjid

11. Do not waste

12. Say sorry

Arabic that is Qur'anic, or a dua, stays in a look-and-read box. The child traces the English, so those lines are not written over or coloured. Cups, doors, mats, lanterns, a masjid outline — objects, not people. No drawings of living beings, and nothing that asks a child to add one.

A4 for India, the UK and the Gulf. US Letter for the US and Canada. Reprint as often as you like. Personal use only — do not resell or share the files.

How to use it

1. Print single-sided. A colour printer is kinder for the object pages; the mazes and ticks work in black ink.

2. One unit a week is enough. You may stop after the maze and come back tomorrow.

3. A grown-up may skip any unit that does not fit the house.

4. Tried is better than finished.

Who it is for

A child of about five to nine, with a grown-up nearby. Families who want adab on paper, not a lecture.

Who it is not for

Not fiqh. Not a madhhab. Not scholar-approved.

Not a test.

Not a colouring book of prophets, people or animals.

Not the greyscale paperback (that is a separate book, later).

Note

Amanah Desk is not a scholar. This is practice, not a ruling. The look-and-read boxes exist so a child is not asked to colour a dua.
