DESCRIPTION
Burwick is a small village and harbor in South Ronaldsay, the southernmost of the Orkney Islands, just off the northern tip of mainland Scotland. It’s also the name of this tam. The lower band of “bars” represent piers in the harbor. The motifs that follow represent the heather that grows near there, first at mid-range, and then in a close up view.
PATTERN NOTES
To avoid puckering of fabric, carry color not in use loosely across back of work.
