HydroHackers: Mission 4 Power Turns
HydroHackers Mission 4: Power Turns
Science at the Pool: Heart Power, Force + Momentum
Power Turns is a printable, pool-based science lesson that turns Water Polo Lite into an active exploration of the cardiovascular system, force, momentum, and efficient movement.
Kids will pass, receive, shoot, turn, redirect moving balls, and test how their heart rate changes before and after active play. Along the way, they will learn how the heart pumps blood, how oxygen reaches working muscles, and why controlled movement can save energy.
This mission is designed to feel like a game first—and sneak in real science while kids are moving, collaborating, and having fun.
