Pure Substances & Mixtures Investigation (6th Grade)

Matter can be classified based on its composition and how its parts are arranged. Some materials are made of only one substance, while others are made of two or more substances physically combined. In this investigation, you will use observations and evidence to distinguish between pure substances and mixtures, compare different types of mixtures, and explain how solutions are formed.
