- Notes from the Artist: There is so much beauty in the world. As an artist, I feel it when I create my floral still life. Flowers have an ethereal beauty that causes one to have a sense of peace and tranquility. That is the feeling that I would like people to have when they view my art. We are so busy with the drama of daily life, we sometimes forget to relax and enjoy the beauty around us. The phrase “stop and smell the roses” basically states to relax and take the time out of one’s busy schedule to enjoy and appreciate the beauty of life. I hope my floral art communicates to the viewer that same sentiment.
