BLACKSMITH CHRONICLES (SYNOPSIS)
The Blacksmith Chronicles is the first dystopia action Afro-sci-fi thriller concept that is currently being adapted into a comic book and animation series. It is a story about the emergence of a formidable character named Olusegun Ina Alagbede, the Protagonist of our story.
The journey of this formidable being begins with him tied to the tree of life within ‘Igbo Idan’- the mysterious forest of miracles.
A close up on our subject domiciled in this organic forest revealed blood shot eyes with no pupils, veins flowing with blood and sap. His mouth and nose were sealed with tree gum and his long brownish dreadlocks were rooted into the earth.
A full close up unveils our mysterious subject connected to the tree through its roots plugged into various parts of his corpus like hypo allergic needles administering fluid to a body system. Two large roots are linked to the centre and the back of his head respectively. The tree of life (IGI-AGBA) is an uncanny Iroko tree charged with the responsibility by ILE AFOKOYERI- Mother Earth personified to heal, strengthen and nurture till she returns to free her bridegroom of Iron- The Blacksmith: Last Harbinger of mankind.
Reminisce of his child hood as a Masquerade apprentice and his extensive training awakens his sub conscious. A Masquerade is an African Warrior trained in the art of mysticism, cloak and dagger, mano a mano and fencing with the IDA- the sword of death, the vengeful spirit of a potent warrior. He was ordered by his Father to choose a skilful craft that will enable him to master and utilize the four elements of balance in the universe, on his 16th birthday and thus is the beginning of his chronicles as the BLACKSMITH.
