Rionnag (’star’ in Scottish Gaelic) is a colorwork hat and cowl using classic Sheltand motifs. With four colors total and only two colors per row, Rionnag would make a good intermediate colorwork project. Tukuwool Fingering makes a fabric that is lightweight and warm; substitute another woolen-spun yarn to get the same effect.

22 cm high.

Cowl Finished Dimensions: Approximately 23 ½ (30 ¾) in circumference and 8 ½ in high.

Yarn: Fingering weight yarn. See individual patterns for amounts.

Gauge: 28 sts/35 rnds = 4 in 10cm in stranded patt, blocked.
