What pupils practise

Pupils decide which bin each item goes in, then learn the step to do first: empty it, rinse it or flatten it. Some items, like batteries and light bulbs, never go in a regular bin, and pupils learn to put those in ask and check with a supervisor.

Recycling rules vary by council and by workplace, so check your local rules before a real job.
