Meet in the Middle Bundle: The Mother + Daughter Workbook Bundle
Meet in the Middle: The Mother + Daughter Workbook Bundle
Two women. Two experiences. One relationship.
The mother-daughter relationship can hold some of our deepest love—and some of our deepest misunderstandings.
A mother may think:
I've loved her with everything I have. Why doesn't she feel it?
A daughter may think:
I know my mother loves me. Why do I still feel misunderstood?
Both experiences can be true.
Meet in the Middle is a pair of companion workbooks created to help mothers and teenage/adult daughters better understand themselves, understand each other, and explore a new way of being in relationship.
Created by licensed marriage and family therapist Chrissy Powers, MA, LMFT, these workbooks draw from attachment, family-systems, relational, and somatic perspectives to explore what lives underneath recurring mother-daughter conflict.
Your Bundle Includes
The Mother Book
A guided workbook for understanding the daughter in front of you, the mother you've become, and how to love your daughter without asking either of you to lose yourselves.
The Daughter Book
A guided workbook for understanding your mother, the role you learned to play, and who you are becoming outside of your mother's expectations, approval, or emotions.
Together, the workbooks explore:
- Family roles and generational patterns
- The different ways mothers and daughters remember the same family
- How love is given versus how it is received
- Attachment and nervous-system responses
- Walking on eggshells and emotional responsibility
- Advice, protection, autonomy, and control
- Money, gifts, obligation, and invisible expectations
- Sibling dynamics
- Boundaries and differentiation
- Intention versus impact
- Accountability without shame or self-abandonment
- Distance, grief, and letting go
- Repair and reconnection
- Creating a new adult mother-daughter relationship
And Then You Meet in the Middle
Each woman begins with her own workbook.
The goal is not to read each other's private answers or build a case for who was right.
Instead, you do your own work first.
Then, when you're ready, the guided Meet in the Middle exercises invite you to come together and ask questions like:
What did love look like in our family?
What did you need from me?
What do you wish I understood about you?
When does my help feel supportive—and when does it feel controlling?
What makes you want to come closer?
What do you need when you're hurting?
What can we release?
What do we want our relationship to feel like now?
The goal isn't agreement.
The goal is understanding.
This bundle is not about blaming mothers, diagnosing each other, forcing forgiveness, or pursuing reconciliation at any cost.
It's about creating enough room for two experiences to exist at the same time.
And asking:
Can I understand your experience without abandoning my own?
Because sometimes healing isn't getting back to the relationship you used to have.
It's learning a new way of loving each other.
