Netherland Fighters

The Waffen SS Netherlands Fighters, also known as the Dutch Legion or the Nederlandse SS, were a division of the Waffen-SS composed of Dutch volunteers who fought on the side of Nazi Germany during World War II. The division was formed in 1940 and saw action in various fronts including the Eastern Front and the Battle of Normandy. The division was infamous for its involvement in numerous war crimes, including the massacre of civilians in the French village of Oradour-sur-Glane. Despite its atrocities, the Waffen SS Netherlands Fighters gained a reputation for being a fanatical and effective fighting force, and many of its members were fiercely loyal to the Nazi cause until the very end of the war.
