ABOUT THE PATTERN
The Horta Shawl is a fun and easy shawl pattern, worked flat from the top-down. In a combination of garter stripes, simple brioche and a chevron edging, this piece is very relaxing to work on and grows very fast.
SIZES & YARDAGE
190 x 90 cm/74 x 36 inches (wingspan x depth)
Approximately a total of 810 m/880 yd of DK weight yarn in 2 colors. 405 m/ 440 yd of each color.
Sample features Anzula Lucero DK 80% superwash merino wool, 10% cashmere, 10% sparkling stellina in colorways C1: Rye and C2: Petals.
NEEDLES
4 mm/US 6 circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge.
Circular needles with 80 cm/32 inches cable length recommended to accommodate all stitches comfortably.
NOTIONS
blocking tools of your preference, scissors, stitch markers, tapestry needle
GAUGE
18 stitches x 35 rows in 10 cm/4 inches after blocking in garter stitch.
Even though gauge is not crucial to this project, changes in it will affect your yardage requirements and your final measurements.
