Cave Den of the Poisoned Beast

The poisoned beast is leaving a trail of corpses in the forest as a single scratch from it's fangs is deadly as the poison tears through it's victims bloodstream. Bit locals are confused as the reptilian creatures have roamed the forest since time in memorial, but previously been very timid and certainly not venomous. Something has altered them to make them both aggressive and lethal.

Will our heroes be able to track the beast back to it's lair and either kill it or discover it's secret? Will they be able to overcome to whole group of lizard that now live together with the alpha hunter of the pack?
