Advanced Beginner - Crocheters looking to follow this pattern should know how to:

• Read a crochet pattern - There is NOT a video tutorial for this textured crochet blanket pattern.
• Work the basic stitches - Chain, slip stitch, single crochet, and double crochet.
• Be comfortable with placing two stitches into one stitch.
• Skip chains and stitches.

Child Sized Throw: 42 inches wide, 54 inches long

Medium Sized Throw: 50 inches wide, 60 inches long

Large Sized Throw: 60 inches wide, 72 inches long

YARN REQUIRED

You will need Bulky (5) weight yarn. You will need approximately: 

Baby Blanket: 26 ounces/ 721 grams / 791 yards

Child Throw: 44 ounces / 1,233 grams / 1,352 yards

Medium Throw: 57 ounces / 1,619 grams / 1,775 yards

Large Throw: 82 ounces / 2,317 grams / 2,540 yards

You can make this blanket with a lighter or heavier weight yarn or with a different fiber, if you prefer. Using a different weight or fiber will change the size of the blanket. The yarn usage listed is for Bulky (5) weight only.

If you alter the pattern in any way, including changing yarn weight, your yarn usage will be different than listed.

Yarn Used: Lion Brand's Hue + Me in colorway Desert. This yarn is categorized as "Bulky (5)" weight though it is definitely on the thicker side of bulky. Keep this in mind if you substitute yarn for this crochet blanket pattern.

Hue + Me is 80% Acrylic and 20% Wool - 4.4 ounces / 125 grams, 137 yards / 125 meters per skein.
