Beautiful texture and soft yarn make this shawl an enjoyable and soothing knit. The shawl is worked from one tip to the bind off edge using two different types of increases, creating a slightly skewed triangle.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
70 1⁄2” / 179 cm wide, measured across top edge
28 1⁄2” / 72.5 cm deep

YARN:
2 skeins Baa ram ewe Titus (350 yds / 320 m per 100 g skein, 70 % British wool, 30 % UK alpaca). Shown in color White Rose.

Or approximately 700 yds / 640 m heavy Fingering or Sportweight yarn.
If you’re using a regular fingering weight yarn which has around 400 yds / 366 m per one skein, you might need up to 770 yds / 704 m to make this shawl.

NEEDLES:
size US 6 / 4 mm circular needle

NOTIONS:
row counter
tapestry needle to weave in the yarn ends

GAUGE:
18.5 sts and 38 rows in Garter Stripe pattern = 4” / 10 cm
Gauge is not crucial for this project but will affect the amount of yarn used and the final size of the shawl.
