Rainbow HST Quilt PDF Pattern

Time to raid the stash or use that glorious rainbow fat quarter bundle to make this machine sewn lap quilt using the ever-popular half-square triangle block. Finsihing at approx. 56" square, this design would look equally beautiful in a range of different tone of the same colour.. or even batiks!

Finished size: approx. 56" square

Skill level: Skilled Beginner

You will need:
• A range of scraps in rainbow colours, at least 5” square
• 2m x wof (width of fabric) of background fabric
• 50cm x wof of binding fabric
• 1.75cm x wof of backing fabric, plus large scraps for the centre panel.
• 60“ square of wadding
• Basic sewing kit including, pins, rotary cutter, ruler and mat (rotating would be ideal) and a sewing machine with a quarter inch foot and a walking foot.

IMPORTANT: This pattern assumes the reader has the knowledge to baste, quilt and bind the quilt.  However for those of you new to quilting I have added some tutorials on this on my website in the Beginner's Quilt Section.
