Bladelore (Cadis Trilogy Book 3, Andvell Saga Book 6)

If you're looking at this book, I'm going to assume you've read the first two books in the series. You'll know what to expect from this one as far as how well it is written and how great Venn's swears are. The action is even more exciting than in the first two books, and I genuinely did not know how or if the author was going to pull them out of the war.

As is typical with a good series, I was sad to finish this one because I loved the characters and wanted to know what was going to happen next for them. I really want to know if anything is going to happen with Naya ("dragon girl") as she grows up - the question of her father's link to the dragon came up a few times in the series, so perhaps we can get a book with Naya at about 18 where she can breathe fire on command and has dragon scales on her arms? No? How about Naya having her own adventures, then, although I can't think of anything more exciting than what all happened in the Cadis Trilogy. But I thought the same thing after the Meratis Trilogy, and the Cadis Trilogy really delivered.
