The squares seem to have diamonds cut out, which now float outside the squares. Deb Tucker's Studio 180 Design Diamond Rects^® ruler makes it easy to achieve perfect diamonds. Templates are included if you don’t have the ruler. Make a twin-size or add another border for a queen-size.
