Gauge isn’t really important. Use the same needles you use for socks or gnomes.

•Fingering weight yarn in three colours, about 2 yds. / 2 m of each

C1 - cone
C2 - scoop 1
C3 - scoop 2
•Needles  
US 1 / 2.25 mm needles for knitting small circumference in the round

yarn needle, fluffy stuffing like yarn scraps/roving/polyfill stuffing
