Journal Cover

The Journal Cover is a free pattern for all to enjoy. This cover is meant to be used with a composition notebook 7 1/2" W x 9 3/4" H. I purchase mine at the dollar store as they are very reasonable and come in many colours. The hard cover composition notebooks can have the back cover slid into the back slot of the cover leaving the front slip pocket open for storage. The softer cover composition books can have both their front and back covers slid into the pockets to keep it secure. Personal preference.

This is made using textiles with a raw edge finish. I prefer to edge coat mine for a finished appearance but can be made with out finishing the edges.

They make lovely gifts and a bonus, an ipad slides into the pocket also.
