The population of 2624 in 1881 fell 11% to 2334 in 1891 and by another 15% to 1974 residents in 1901.

The Matthews Family in Ancestry.com

The Matthews family will look like this when first uploaded to Ancestry.com. Three generations of the Matthews family lived in the one house on Main Street, Monasterevin in 1901. Thomas and his two sons, William and John are all boot and shoemakers. When the GEDCOM file is uploaded to Ancestry.com, the family of grandparents/children/grandchild are all displayed correctly in a family tree hierarchy. That is what a GEDCOM file does.
