What can being stuck behind a Devon tractor teach us about life? A lot, as it turns out!
Do you sometimes find yourself so busy wishing things were different that you struggle to really, fully, enjoy your life - your work, your child, your partner?
It's such an easy trap to fall into, and it's not a nice one. When we're in 'grass is greener '/ wishful thinking mode, we suffer - we experience dissatisfaction, discomfort, dis-ease - we are not at our best and fresh ideas and productive thinking are hard to find.
Conversely, when we live in reality, when we, 'get with the programme', and stay in What Is, (not What Isn't, but we wish Was - about our child, our partner, our position in the traffic...?!), we are WAY more creative, intuitive, and productive; we have access to ideas and solutions we simply can't see when we're away in la-la-wishing-things-were-different, land. In short: we enjoy life a lot more.
