ShiftMargin helps independent support workers and small NDIS providers estimate the financial contribution of a shift using their actual agreed rates and business costs.

An instant PDF access guide plus a ZIP containing an HTML quick start, full user guide, FAQ, privacy information, disclaimer, purchase terms and fictional examples. The guide opens the full ShiftMargin v1 2026-27 web app. No separate app account or licence key is needed.

One-off introductory price: A$14.95. For personal or internal business use on your own devices. This version supports up to 1000 shifts/templates, subject to device storage. No subscription is required.

Your agreed rate comes first

The optional pricing reference is a labelled 12-item starter selection from the official 2026-27 schedule, plus a versioned JSON importer. It is not the full schedule and updates are not automatic. Reference maximums never set the agreed rate or establish an entitlement to charge.

Before you buy

Use current Chrome, Edge or Safari on a phone, tablet or computer. Connect once to load the app, then test reopening offline. Installation is optional. No cloud sync, payroll integration or team workspace is included. Hosting is not guaranteed for life. PDFs are not tagged accessible PDFs; the app and HTML guide provide structured text.

Use initials or neutral labels. The app does not need participant diagnoses and does not upload your records. Local storage and exports are not encrypted. Browser data can be cleared, so download regular backups. Payhip handles purchase information separately.

Common questions

Is this net profit? No. It is estimated contribution before unallocated business overheads and tax.

Does it decide lawful wages or GST? No. You own the worker assumptions. The optional cost builder uses simple allowances. GST is an explanatory note only.

Can I move to another device? Yes, using a JSON backup. Restore replaces the destination workspace; it does not merge or sync.
