Tuberose cowl was born whilst playing with the placement of a simple twisted stitch pattern in a hazy afternoon. I discovered that slightly staggering the motifs instead of stacking them straight, led to some eye-pleasing results.
All of a sudden, I remembered Tuberose - the waxy tube shaped florets which bloom in delightful bunches. Its fragrance is described as dense, rich, powerful, summery and a multitude of other nuances. Later I found that Tuberose is described in a poem as “pure as the dream of a child.” I decided to stick to the name as it had come to me the same way, as if from a dream. :)

Tuberose Cowl features a twisted stitch motif panel that is repeated on either side of the cowl in the background of a 3X1 ribbing pattern. The stitch pattern itself is be easily memorized and pretty straightforward to knit.
