Personal Finance Master Planner
A month of personal finance end to end: budget, transaction log, accounts, debts, and thirteen months of trend from the same data.
Tag every category Income, Need, Want or Save once, and that tagging drives the workbook. Log transactions as positive numbers — the category decides direction. Review reports every category against budget with variance and percent used, where the money went, and your savings rate. Trends carries thirteen months of it without another entry.
WHAT'S INSIDE
Start Here — the legend and how to run a month
Dashboard — the month in six numbers, from money in to net worth change
Setup — the month, your categories and budgets, savings-rate and emergency-fund targets
Transactions — 1,000 rows: date, description, category, amount, account
Accounts — one balance per account per month, thirteen across, net worth beneath
Debts — balance, APR, minimum and extra, with months left, total interest, avalanche and snowball order
Review — every category against budget, where it went, savings rate
Trends — thirteen months of income, spending, savings rate and net worth
THE PART NOBODY ELSE BUILDS
Every amount is entered positive and the category decides whether money moved in or out, which removes the largest single source of errors in a budget spreadsheet. Money moved to savings counts as Save, not spending — it leaves your current account but it does not leave you. And rolling into a new month is one date on Setup; the log stays put, because that history is what every trend is built from.
