Amigurumi Easter Chick

This little chap came about from wanting to make something simple in shape with just a few additions to make it into a cute Easter character. Using US terminology throughout.

He is 9cm (3.5 inches) tall and 8cm (3 inches) in diameter, worked in the round and in US terminology. The shell is made separately along with the dinky daffodil.

Yarn and notions

Double knitting yarn in yellow, orange and a colour for the shell with a small amount of green for the daffodil (I have used Stylecraft Special Double Knit in Buttermilk, Dandelion, Spice, Duck Egg and Meadow)

3mm crochet hook

Two 5mm safety eyes, small amount of stuffing, a moveable row marker and a sewing needle
