Additional note for percussionists: both percussionists are required to play the piano as if it were a percussion

instrument (i.e. no traditional piano skills are required); the piano must be situated between percussionists I and

II (see the performance layout on page 3) and the lid must be up or removed; the piano damper pedal must be

depressed throughout; therefore, a weight or wedge (such as a door stop) can be used to depress the pedal.

Guitar – (classical guitar); the guitarist requires a plectrum.
