Knit through the heatwaves this Summer with Double Tide. Let your stitches flow over easy lace as it creates a duplicate eyelet as you go. In true double tide fashion, one eyelet is slightly bigger than the other. Add in color for another layer of double tide effects. Swash color and airiness into your summer wardrobe with Double Tide.

The tech edited and test knit intermediate level pattern is fully written with the lace written and charted. See the Knit Eco Chic blog, Double Tide Video Tutorials, for stitch demonstrations.

Special Notes:

• Construct It: Double Tide is worked top down and includes directions for working seamlessly with the Zip As You Knit (TM) technique for two colors, working flat and seaming for two colors, or working in the round with one color.

• Mark It: use the two locking stitch markers to mark the right side of your work, one on the Front and one on the Back.

• Measure It: directions to work to specific measurements in pattern assume blocked measurements.

• Stitch It: from Join Back and Front direction on, pattern assumes right handed knitting.

• Swatch It: Garter stitch, especially in 100% organic cotton, grows substantially. If working a swatch hang to measure for row / rnd gauge.

• Yarn It: Medium size knitters - you may need an additional skein of MC in order to work both the arm openings and neck edging in MC. Sample used the entire skein of MC with just scraps of MC and 8gs of CC leftover.
