The instructions and XML parts list to build your own Heat Miser out of LEGO® bricks.
I designed these so that the interior pieces, that are not seen, use more common colors so that they are cheaper to purchase or more likely to be in your own collection already.
This is my version of the Heat Miser, a character from the Rankin/Bass television special The Year Without a Santa Claus. He controls the Earth’s hot weather. He is the child of Mother Nature, and his half brothers are Snow Miser and North Wind.
The most challenging part of the design process was the hair. I took a bit of artistic license and designed more towards a flame rather than the wide spikes of the actual character. With both Heat and Snow Miser the noses were a prominent enough feature that I felt obligated to include them in the final design. I also made him one plate shorter than normal to reflect his shorter stature.
