The instructions and XML parts list to build your own Spotted Elephant out of LEGO® bricks.

This is my updated version of the Spotted Elephant, a character from the Rankin/Bass television special Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. He lives on the Island of Misfit Toys where unwanted toys live until they find a good home. I updated the nose and ears to make it look like more of an elephant, even if it looks less like the source material.

My favorite part of this design was the ability to use coral pieces, or as LEGO calls it, vibrant coral. I have been wanting to incorporate it into one of my designs, and it works well with the medium blue here as an accent against all of the white. The medium blue tiles are, unfortunately, still  a bit more rare and, thus, expensive, so I also created a Medium Azure version for a more affordable alternative.

I designed these so that the interior pieces, that are not seen, use more common colors so that they are cheaper to purchase or more likely to be in your own collection already. The instructions for both versions, one using medium azure tiles and the other using medium blue tiles, are included because of the cost of medium blue parts in some countries.
