Either with the glow of summer or of winter, enjoy this Solstice as our Earth seems to pause at the extreme of its orbit.

This is a pattern for a cushion cover. This cushion cover is worked in the round from a provisional cast-on and using the Fair-Isle knitting technique.

Stitches are provisionally cast on, the chart is worked before working the buttonhole band. Once the piece is complete, the provisionally cast on sts are returned to needles, the piece is turned inside out, and then the edge is closed using a 3-needle bind off.

Duplicate Stitch and simple embroidery may be used to embellish your animals and flowers.
