Moomin Christmas Blanket Pattern

You’ve guessed it, this is another Fudges window special creation. This bobble stitch Moomin blanket came about from one of our fabulous conversations about window displays. Measuring 153cm / 62 inches wide and 138cm / 54 inches high and using James C Brett yarn throughout.

Written in US terminology you will need to be able to chain, single crochet and double crochet.

Materials

Materials Needed

Double knitting yarn (light worsted / 8 ply) I used various James C Brett yarn in the following colours and quantities:

Supersoft Baby Shade BB12 (background) - 8 balls

Supersoft Baby Shade BB4 (Moomin) - 4 balls

Top Value Shade 8430 (black) - 2 balls

Top Value Shade 8414 (parcel green) - 2 balls

Twinkle Shade TK20 (red ribbon) - 1 ball

Twinkle Shade BT01 (white snowflakes) - 1 ball

It’s 100% Pure Cotton (dark elements of bow) - 1 ball (used for colour rather than yarn content)

4mm (G-6) crochet hook

Finished size

153cm / 62 inches wide and 138 cm / 54 inches tall
