Auld Lang Syne £3

An arrangement, with a composed variation, of the original tune that Burns used for Auld Lang Syne.

There are 6 versions, each scored for both smaller and larger wire-strung harps: from a simple way of playing tune using both hands, through more complicated and decorated versions, and a newly-written variation to the tune. A glossary of techniques used is included.

You can hear the mp3s on the last picture - click on the small play arrow on the right hand side of the track name - and you can downloaded as well as a bonus with the score.

Accompanying notes and information, including the words and the original page from the Scots Musical Museum, are also in the pdf and the download includes 7 bonus mp3 recordings (you don't have to download these or keep them if you just want the score!)

This was originally commissioned the Wire Branch of the Clarsach Society in 2012. This edition revision in 2014.
