This design is named for Edith Piaf, that supreme song stylist who lived an achingly tragic life. This scarf, I hope, will become a staple in your wardrobe. Its easily-memorized stitch pattern, heavy weight yarn and bigger needles will have you finishing it in no time. It will at least provide trusty insulation against the elements – as for helping you in love and loss, well, c’est la vie, n’est-ce pas?
I have updated this pattern in 2021 to include a cowl option because I love cowls.
