PowerCue: the teleprompter that follows your voice.

Paste your script, press Follow, and just talk. PowerCue listens entirely on your Mac and scrolls so your next line is always at the marker. Pause to think and it waits. Ad-lib and it picks you back up the moment you return to the script. Nothing is ever recorded or uploaded.

Karaoke highlight lights up your words as you speak them
Detachable prompter window for any display, with full mirror flips for beam-splitter rigs
Numbered jump markers, hidden screen directions, and a rich script editor
On-screen timer, plus run-time pacing that lands the script exactly on time
Import and export Word documents
Prefer a classic scroll? Play mode paces by speed or total run time

Requires an Apple Silicon Mac, macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later. One-time purchase, no subscription. Free updates through 1.x. The free trial is fully functional for 7 days.

Just what I needed!

I used to rely on the Elgato foot pedal to start, stop and return my script, but it’s much nicer not having to use my foot every time. For instance, I can now sit on a table with both legs tucked up. As I’m starting to trust the way PowerCur jumps back when I restart, or repeat a certain sentence it’s becoming software I simply can’t do without. As an early adopter, I’d also like to say that Rafael personally helped me get the Dutch language working. a big thumbs up for that!
