This hat is pretty simple and features an anchor on the front and back. I knit the original for a Winter gift exchange.
February 2021: I have added a chart to the standard pattern file and made some adjustments to the written instructions as well. I have also added a low vision accessible file for this pattern.
Materials:
Gauge: 18 stitches & 24 rnds = 4 inches/10 cm in 2x2 ribbing knit in the round

Materials:
- 235yds/ 215 m of worsted weight yarn (Sample shown was knit using Bernat Wool Blend Natural Blends (80% acrylic, 20% wool; 240 yds/219 m = 100g) in "denim"). Look for a smooth plied wool or wool blend yarn in a lighter color that will show off the cable work.
- 4.5 mm/US 7 needles to work in the round, or size needed to get the gauge
- 2 cable needles (the second can be a toothpick or other short holder as it will hold 1 stitch in one spot of each anchor)
- stitch markers (1 different for start of round)
