Ten traditional German songs arranged for piano

A collection of ten piano arrangements of traditional German melodies with a difficulty level appropriate for children at the early stages of education. These themes with variations have a simple and clean harmony but also several phrases which are an excellent training method to improve the quickness and agility of the hand. Every arrangement is provided with trilingual suggestions on technical and expressive aspects (in German, English and Italian) and fingering, especially for little hands, with original texts in German and cantabile translations in English and Italian. The collection can thus be used for educational purposes during music lessons at school. The themes can easily be adapted to ensemble performances with monodic instruments and accompaniment. The tones are well suited for the characteristic texture of children’s voice.
