What's inside

• Plant Register: welders, grinders, drills, saws, compressors, forklifts and cranes. Interval, last inspection or service, who did it, registration number and expiry for registrable plant. Works out the next due date, days left and a red / amber / green status. Open defects show OUT OF SERVICE.
• Lifting Gear Register: slings, shackles, clamps, chain blocks and spreader beams with WLL, tag number, last inspection and pass/fail.
• Test & Tag Register: holds the four things a test record needs under WHS reg 150 (who tested, date, outcome, next test date), for owned, hired and personal gear.
• Daily Pre-Start Check: a one-page printable check for one machine across 7 days, with a fit-for-use result each day.
• Defect & Isolation Log: what was found, how it was tagged out, the repair and who signed it back into service.
• Summary: overdue, out of service, due soon and missing dates for all three registers, plus open defects.

Good to know

• Excel and Google Sheets. No macros, works offline. Prints A4.
• 150 items in each register and 100 defect records.
• It's a spreadsheet, so it doesn't send reminders.
• A record-keeping aid only. It doesn't inspect, test or certify anything, set legal intervals, or give legal or WHS advice. Inspections and tests must be done by a competent person.
