AN ACHILLES SLWC...HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?

We meet this guy outside an Austrian hospital, where he gets out of a car and uses his crutches to make his way to the main entrance and then to register for his check-up appointment.

At first we can only say that it is a cast in equinus position on his left foot, because the black sock covers the entire lower part of the lower leg and his pants sit on top of it.

He moves nimbly on crutches. He goes to the back of the waiting area, meets a friend there and the two have a short conversation - they probably talk about their injuries.

A moment later our patient arrived at the cast room. Luckily for us, he pulls his sock right off the cast and a white Fiber SLC appears. His toes, which are now clearly visible, appear delicate, but fit the overall appearance. Of course, in a sitting position, he rests his cast foot on a crutch placed on the floor. It seems casual.

A short time later he is called into the cast room. We meet him again in the waiting area; he has sat down with his friend. To our surprise, his casted foot was fitted with a cast shoe. A cast shoe for an Achilles injury? Well...why not?

When he later leaves the hospital, he doesn't use the cast shoe at all, but continues non-weight bearing using his crutches.
