Kids will freeze a toy inside a block of ice, investigate its properties, predict which rescue method will work best, experiment with warm water, cold water and salt, compare their observations, change a variable and try again, and finish with a colorful Ice Art Lab!

This activity encourages children to predict, observe, test, compare and experiment while exploring what happens when ice melts.
