6.5” Ribbon Tail Worm

6.5” Ribbon Tail Worm | 8 Pack

If you like working a worm along the bottom, the 6.5 inch Ribbon Tail Worm gives you a familiar place to start. Its ribbed body and broad, thin ribbon tail make it a different option from a straight-tail worm.

Try it Texas-rigged around grass, wood or the edges of cover. Tuck the hook point into the body to help reduce snagging, then work it with short hops and pauses. Don’t feel like you have to move it every second.

For a different approach, try a Carolina rig and drag it slowly across open bottom, stopping now and then. You can also experiment with a slow, steady retrieve on your Texas rig instead of hopping it back.

Start with one approach and adjust from there. Sometimes a change in pace is worth trying before you tie on something else.

Each pack includes eight handmade 6.5 inch Ribbon Tail Worms from Proven Plastics.
