Breeze Top is a loose fitting casual top. The fitted rib at the waist and the elegant cable edging on the sleeves makes this a nice garment to make and to wear. The top is worked in two pieces on straight needles. The pattern includes a schematic with measurements.
Sizes:
Small: UK sizes 6-10; to fit approx 73cm – 81cm / 29″ – 32″ bust (6 balls of yarn)
Medium: UK sizes 12-14; to fit approx 84cm – 94cm / 33″ – 37″ bust (7 balls of yarn)
Large: UK sizes 16-20; , to fit approx 96cm – 107cm /38″ – 42″ bust (7 balls of yarn)
Yarn details: Sports/DK weight. Original sample is knitted in Purl Alpaca Designs Fine yarn, 100% alpaca, 116m/50g.
Tension: 20 sts and 26 rows to 10 cm square over Stocking Stitch using 4mm needles.
Needles: 3.5 and 4mm straight needles.
Notions: 4mm cable needle, darning needle.
Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.
