Bacteriophage virus foundation paper piecing pattern

This bacteriophage virus is a fun quilt block and and the perfect gift for a biologist!
This pattern has quite a few small pieces so is great for an intermediate paper-piecer. The pattern will produce a block that is approximately 6.5 inches wide and 8 inches tall. This could be used as part of a larger quilt or as mug-rug or made into a wall hanging, as I have done in the final image. The PDF also includes instructions to scale-up the pattern to make a quilt of any size.
