Pitch Canvas is a MIDI tool for sound designers and music producers.
Draw custom pitch curves and modulation shapes to control your instruments in real time. Experiment with different movements, reshape curves, and explore new sound variations—from falling lasers and rising sweeps to rhythmic pulses.
Features
- Draw pitch curves — Create custom pitch movements with Freehand, Line, Curve, Points, LFO, and Grain tools.
- MIDI CC output — Control synthesizer parameters using your own drawn curves. Use up to four lanes to shape pitch and modulation separately.
- Flexible LFO shaping — Adjust waveform, rate, and depth, or reshape the curve itself.
- Multiple pages — Keep up to 64 pages of ideas and switch between them. Your curves are saved with your DAW project.
- MIDI export — Drag notes, Pitch Bend, and CC into your DAW, or save them as a MIDI file.

The Full version has no trial expiry and requires no license key.
This is a beta version. Features may change, and bugs or compatibility issues may occur during development. Your feedback is welcome and will help shape future updates.

A free 14-day Trial is available so you can test Pitch Canvas with your own DAW and instruments.
If you decide to purchase, install the Full version over the Trial to continue using your existing projects.
System Requirements
- macOS: Intel and Apple Silicon.
- Windows: Windows 10 or later, 64-bit.
- Formats: VST3 and CLAP. AU is not included.
- Live MIDI requires a DAW that supports routing plugin MIDI output to an instrument.
For pitch control, match the Pitch Bend Range in Pitch Canvas and your instrument. Assign MIDI CC messages to the parameters you want to control.
Playback uses Pitch Canvas’s own Project BPM and does not automatically follow your DAW tempo.
Tested in REAPER on Windows and Apple Silicon macOS. Compatibility with other DAWs has not yet been verified. Please try the free Trial with your own setup before purchasing.
