Dainty Chevron Shawl

I enjoyed knitting the Sabal shawl so much that I felt inspired to use its construction for a series of shawls. This shawl is the second in the series.


Pattern is 7 pages.

Finished Size (blocked): 73”/185 cm wide by 25”/64 cm deep including the lace border


Gauge: 22 sts and 32 rows to 4 inches/10 cm in Dainty Chevron stitch pattern, blocked.

Gauge: 25.5 sts and 45 rows to 4 inches/10 cm in garter stitch stripes, blocked.

Yarn: 1,320 yards/1,206 meters of a MCN (merino, cashmere, nylon) fingering weight yarn that knits up to 7-7.5 sts/inch (2.5 cm). 440 yards/402 meters of each colour A, B, C.
