The Sand and the Sea Cowl was inspired by the beauty of the Oregon Coast. The slipped stitches recall a sandy beach, whereas the mesh sections are inspired by all of the lovely texture the Pacific Ocean shares with us. It’s a fabulous excuse to mix two complementary colors, inspired by the ocean of your dreams.
YARN
Approximately 400 yards/366 m fingering- weight yarn total OR 300 yards/328 m DK- weight yarn total, split equally between two colors.
The blue and brown version is in a discontinued yarn. The DK-weight version shown is in Knitted Wit DK in Paprika & Oregon Sky.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
54"/137 cm in circumference, 9.5"/24 cm wide at lace section.
