UPDATE: Ivy & Autumn recently switched web hosts, so if you are unable to access the link provided in your initial update email, send an email to hello@ivyandautumn.com letting me know and we’ll get it straightened out right away!

NOTE for those who purchased the original Lydia pattern! Please check your email for an 'update' PDF that gives an overview of all the additions and improvements in 2.0 + a coupon code to use during checkout. Thank you so much for supporting the original version!

Lydia 2.0 is a newly graded and revamped version of my Lydia tank. It features a beautiful tubular cast on and lace pattern at the bottom (which is a modified version of a Hitomi Shida Japanese lace motif), with a cropped fit and a low v-neckline in the back. Perfect for summer, but great for layering in any occasion! Whether you prefer working flat and seaming or working in the round, reading lace charts or written instructions, this pattern has got you covered. So much love and time has gone into improving upon the original, and I truly hope you will enjoy making, wearing, and loving your new Lydia!

Please note, when you purchase this pattern, you will be added to a newsletter list so you’re able to receive updated versions of the pattern as needed. You will not receive any other emails from us unless you’ve specifically signed up for our other newsletters. You may unsubscribe at any time, but you will not receive further Lydia updates.

Notes on sizing:

This pattern is written for 14 sizes, ranging from 27-66 in/68.5-167.5 cm finished bust/waist. A majority of testers found that choosing a size with little to no ease and up to 3-4 in/7.5-10 cm negative ease) yielded the best fit for them. I would recommend at most about 2 in/5 cm positive ease. The original sample shows no ease at the bust and 3 in/7.5 cm positive ease at the waist. Lydia is designed to have a slightly cropped fit, but is easily customizable to fit your preference! Schematic with measurements included in the images section and pattern.

Pattern gauge:
  • 4”/10 cm = 22 sts/28 rows in (K7, P1TBL) repeat
  • 3”/7 cm W x 6”/15 cm L = 16 sts x 46 rows in the charted lace pattern
Taken after wet blocking, using US size 5 (3.75mm) needles

All measurements are approximate and taken after blocking. Inches are rounded to the nearest 0.25 in and centimeters to the nearest 0.5 cm.
