Diva Drift is a collection of 155 presets for u-he Diva, created for warm, hazy and slightly unstable electronic music.
The sounds are worn-in without feeling dull, nostalgic without becoming a novelty, and textured without losing their musicality.
Each patch has been designed to feel playable, expressive and ready to become part of a track.
If most preset libraries feel a little too clean or predictable, Diva Drift offers something more human: movement, imperfection and character.
📼 The Sound
Diva Drift draws inspiration from:
- Boards of Canada-style warmth and detuning
- Late-1960s to early-1980s science films, public television and nature documentaries
- Early electronic experiments from the BBC Radiophonic Workshop
- Modern ambient, synthwave and vapourwave
- Artists and composers including Rival Consoles and Atticus Ross
The aim is not to recreate any one artist or era, but to capture a shared atmosphere: faded electronics, drifting pitch, soft edges and the feeling of an old machine trying to remember the future.
Expect woozy pads, fragile keys, evolving textures, dusty sequences, analogue-style basses and expressive leads.

Many of the presets are designed to suggest an idea as soon as you play them, rather than simply filling a category in a preset browser.
🎹 Sound Design Approach
The library makes extensive use of:
- Subtle pitch and frequency modulation
- LFO drift, instability and noise
- Long, evolving delays and feedback
- Layered movement and organic variation
- Carefully balanced modulation for expressive playing
Alongside the atmospheric patches, you will also find a selection of rich analogue-style basses and leads designed to sit naturally with the softer, more textural sounds.
Every preset includes a short sound-design prompt in its description. These are simple suggestions for reshaping, extending or personalising the sound without needing to rebuild the patch from scratch.

Some earlier Diva Drift videos show 140 presets in the title. Version 1.1 added a further 15 variation presets, bringing the main library to 155. Many of these variations remove preset intervals or make other useful parameter changes for producers who prefer more harmonically neutral starting points.
You can also download 10 free taster presets created in the style of Diva Drift. They are mainly variations on ideas explored in the full library, but each is a unique preset that is not included in the paid pack.
