Diva Drift Vol. 2 expands the sound of the original Drift: warm, textured and playable patches that never feel completely static.

Some sounds have an almost imperceptible movement running through them. Other, LFO presets, are overtly modulated and designed to move.

The resulting library morphs between atmospheric warmth, analogue character and more adventurous territory.

THE DRIFT SOUND

Drift began as an attempt to recreate the subtle movement and imperfection I had heard in certain hardware soundsets.

That character remains at the heart of Vol. 2.

Some patches use slight pitch or filter variation; others make greater use of intervals, LFOs and modulation. The movement can be barely noticeable or central to the sound.

DRIFT, EVOLVED

The original Drift established the archetype. Vol. 2 widens the palette.

You’ll find ethereal pads, textured keys, warm harmonic sounds and cinematic atmospheres alongside stronger pitch movement, resonance and more animated modulation.

The two collections share the same sonic DNA, with Vol. 2 widening the palette rather than duplicating it. Used together they feel like one larger library; used separately, each has its own identity.

EVEN FURTHER WITH XPER

Vol. 2 introduces a dedicated experimental section: XPER.

These patches use stronger pitch movement, higher resonance and deeper modulation, moving Drift into less stable and more animated territory.

Some remain atmospheric and ethereal; others are more pronounced and unpredictable.
