Did you ever have a dream that seemed so real that when you woke up you weren't sure you'd been dreaming?

Well, that's exactly what happened to Sydney Dinkum.

One night he had a strange dream that simply wouldn't go away - even after he'd gotten out of bed and had a shower!

Every time he looked in the mirror, a knight in shining armor looked back!

Now Sydney never thought of himself as a special koala.  It's true, he was born with a knack for languages and can speak with humans as easily as crocodiles.  And he's always played a pretty mean rock and roll guitar (at least to his own ear if not to others).  Besides that, however, his primary occupation used to be doing as little as possible except sit in his tree fort and munch on Eucalyptus leaves.

That's what made the dream so strange.

Sydney had never wanted to be a knight in shining armor!  In fact, he wasn't at all certain what a knight in shining armor did!  Or even how to become one!

All he knew was the dream that wouldn't go away was now his destiny. 

He must become Sir Sydney Dinkum - Koala Knight.

He soon learns that every knight needs a loyal squire.  His best friend, Sancho, a wisecracking wombat, thinks Sydney's gone bonkers but agrees to join the adventure (he never could resist a scary rollercoaster ride).  Sydney's noble steed - another crucial requirement for a knight - comes to him in the form of a deaf camel, whom he dubs Rosie. 

The world has never seen such an unlikely group of heroes.  Fighting evil and righting wrongs has never been so much fun!
