Severe Weather Bundle

Write the alert and put it on the air, unattended. Both tools, $109 one-time.

Two halves of the same job

SevereWeatherReady watches the National Weather Service for the alerts you choose, writes them up in your station's style, and renders them to audio.

AirCut takes it from there. It sits between your playout software and your streaming provider, and drops that audio into your live stream — no disconnect, no dropped listeners, no dead air.

Warnings cut in immediately. Everything else waits for the song to finish.

Together they close the loop: an alert is issued, and it reaches your listeners, with nobody in the building.

Both install on the same machine, so the folder one writes to is the folder the other watches. There's nothing to wire up between them.

AirCut works with whatever playout system you already run — if your encoder can do Icecast 2, it can talk to AirCut. Tested against NextKast 7.x, PlayIt Live 2.18.2, Mixxx 2.5.6, BUTT (Icecast and Shoutcast), Rocket Broadcaster, Altacast 1.1 and ffmpeg.

Windows 10 or later, 64-bit. Your stream running MP3 or AAC at 44.1 kHz, constant bitrate. Severe weather alerts are US only for now, sourced from the National Weather Service — AirCut itself will air alert audio from any source you've got.

$109, one-time purchase. One station. No subscription.

Payhip runs our checkout, and on bundle pages it labels things "Choose a pricing plan" and "Sign Up".

That is Payhip's wording for bundles. It is not a signup or a subscription. This is a one time purchase.
